Artwork Pokemon VP - Alcalodan Seel

I love regional forms, this is the perfect opportunity to highlight old and less popular pokemon by offering them a new appearance and new type, in order to give them a well-deserved breath of fresh air for some of them, but also to make them more competitive. That's why I wanted to use mutated forms in Mission Eclipse, a concept in the fangame that comes closest to regional forms, to revisit pokemons that I think deserve to be revisited by Game Freak

One of them is Seel, a pokemon that despite being part of the first generation, is particularly forgettable in my opinion, whether because of its minimalist design, its color palette that lacks variety (even for its chromatic version), or even that it has the Water type which has the largest number of pokemon than any other type in the pokemon games ! That's why I wanted to give it some affection by making it a mutated form

I had thought it could have the Water-Fairy double type at first, but I preferred to give it the Psychic type instead, since Primarina already has this combination and is also based on a sea lion ! Water-Psychic has more weaknesses but given the setting for this fangame, I thought it would be more practical if it had an advantage against Poison-types in the region, such as the legendary Toxigon, and also because the Psychic-type is not very represented among the fakemons that I created !

I tried giving it a more colorful design using a palette in pastel shades, an orb instead of its horn on its head and a soap bubble mane. The idea of making it a pokemon based on soap came from the Mizutsune in monster hunter, one of my favorite monsters and designs in this serie ! But what do you think ? How do you find this new form for a pokemon like Seel ?
