Artwork Pokemon VP - Myrmedrill

New year, new fakemons! So here is Foreusect, one of the final evolutions for Fourmiel that I had already introduced. If in a colony, Antiel and Sucropod are the workers and Nectareine the ruler, Foreusect is the protector and the warrior who defends his fellows at all costs! To obtain it, simply feed the Nectar Royal object to a male sucropod so that it evolves into this monster.

I had to work a lot on this design, I first went with the idea of giving it pliers/blades. But I preferred to give him tendrils, in reference to Drillmon in the Digimon series, which can be used both as weapons in combat and as construction tools for digging tunnels. I also tried to reinforce the coloring of this fakemon, to make it look more like a big red ant, rather than reusing the colors of the Anthill and Sucropode.

For his movepool, I imagined him with attacks like: Iron Head, Leech Life, Bulldoze, Rock Slide, Heavy Slam, X-Scissor, Drill Run or even Stone Edge, however I don't know if I should also give him status attacks like Sticky Web, Rock Trap or Spikes, I'm afraid that will make it too dangerous and hard to counter !
